Andrea Spena
RN, BSN

Andrea earned her Bachelor of Science in Health & Human Services from the University of Buffalo in 2013 and received her BSN in 2015 from St. John Fisher College. She began her nursing career in 2013, working as a Patient Care Technician, then transitioned to working as an orthopedic nurse beginning in 2016. She then pursued her dream of working in aesthetics in 2017 as an RN specializing in Facial and Body Contouring, where she enjoyed caring for patients, assessing patients for treatment, and ensuring they had the best experience possible.

Andrea began working for Charlotte Plastic Surgery in 2018 as a Recovery Nurse in our on-site Operating Room, assisting our 5 Plastic Surgeons. She began her extensive training for injectables, broadening her knowledge and skillset for Allergan products such as Botox, Juvederm, and Kybella. Andrea has achieved her Master-Expert Certifications in Injectables, Sciton Laser, PDO Threads, Sculptra, Vivace Ultra-Vision RF, PRP, and PDGF.

Her favorite products are Skinmedica Lumivive, TNS Recovery Complex, and Total Defense and Repair SPF to help delay visible signs of aging. Andrea enjoys receiving routine DiamondGlow® (previously called Dermalinfusion Treatments), Glass Skin Facials, along with Botox and fillers to keep her youthful appearance.

Andrea is passionate about patient care and finds fulfillment in witnessing their progress over time. She is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals through honest communication and by setting realistic, attainable expectations that foster trust and satisfaction.

Outside of her professional work, Andrea enjoys cooking, staying active through regular workouts, and attending sporting events. She is deeply committed to giving back to the community, volunteering her time at comfort care homes for hospice and palliative care patients. Additionally, she actively supports charitable causes, including participating in fundraising efforts for the American Cancer Society.
