After attending King’s College and achieving a degree in Medical Office Assisting, Ginger went on to pursue her passion for skin care at the National School of Esthetics. She has always had an interest in skin care and has watched the industry change and grow in ways she never expected.
“The skin care treatments I was doing in the ‘90’s are nothing compared to the advanced esthetic services we can provide now. It’s really exciting to be able to offer my clients options that are scientifically proven and truly effective.”
For the past 24 years with Charlotte Plastic Surgery, Ginger has gained vast experience in the areas of Medical Grade Skin Care and Customized Facial Treatments. Her expertise also includes various levels of Chemical Peels, SkinPen™ Microneedling, Dermaplaning, VISIA Complexion Analysis, and DiamondGlow® (formerly known as a Dermalinfusion Treatment).
Ginger has been with Charlotte Plastic Surgery since 1995 and is passionate about finding a skin care regimen for her patients that is easily incorporated into their daily routine. Ginger’s education and extensive background in the field of skin care contribute to her ability to work with her patients to design a plan that not only helps them reach their goals, but is easy to follow.
“Each day, I strive to help my clients create lifelong habits that not only improve their appearance but also their confidence. My clients are busy, so working together to find that life/regimen balance is essential, and I enjoy helping them find a plan that works for their lifestyle.”
When it comes to her own personal skin care, Ginger performs an exfoliating or hydrating mask once per week to keep her skin smooth and glowing. On a daily basis, she uses various SkinMedica® and Alastin products both morning and night. She also enjoys routine Botox® treatments, gentle Chemical Peels, and Microneedling Treatments to prevent wrinkling, skin thinning, and uneven texture. Ginger believes that listening is the key to finding a great skin care regimen and building happy relationships.
“I believe in listening to my clients, not only with my ears but with my whole heart. I try to sew kindness and understanding into every interaction I have with my patients; it has helped me be a better provider and they know they are truly cared for.”
Ginger and her husband Scott love spending time with their family & friends and can often be found enjoying the day with their dogs or bee keeping together. She loves yoga, watching movies, reading, listening to music, hiking the various North Carolina terrains, exploring new places locally and in Europe, and visiting the seashore.
